MEK supplies fire rated doors and fire safety products, automatic and security doors, switchgear, electrical panels, enclosures and cable trays, warehouse racking and supermarket shelving, steel lockers and industrial furniture, banking security furniture, containerized solutions and commercial kitchen equipment.
MEK (Mulla Ebrahimji Karimbhoy) has manufactured steel products since 1921. Its own manufacturing units produce fire rated metal doors, industrial racking systems, switchgear and metal enclosures, and industrial furniture, which we supply and support in Uganda.

Yes. Most of our steel products, including doors, racking, electrical panels, enclosures, lockers and containers, can be built to your project dimensions, finishes and RAL colours.

Our fire rated steel doors are tested to recognised standards such as UL 10C and NFPA 252, as stated on each product page. Test certificates and technical data sheets are available on request.
