A distribution panel built off a generic spec sheet is a gamble on a site you haven't accounted for. We'd rather not gamble. MEK manufactures and supplies switchgear and electrical distribution panels for commercial and industrial projects across Uganda, drawing on manufacturing know-how that goes back generations. From main distribution boards to custom motor control panels, we act more like an engineering partner than a reseller. MEP contractors, consultants, and developers come to us with load requirements and site conditions, and we build to that, not to a catalogue.

An MDP (Main Distribution Panel) receives and distributes power across a facility. An MCC (Motor Control Center) is built specifically to start, protect, and monitor motors, and it usually sits downstream of the MDP.
Can MEK build a custom electrical panel to my project's specifications?
Yes, send drawings, load calculations, or a BOQ, and we'll recommend or engineer the right panel for your project.
Do you supply ATS panels for backup power switching?
Yes, Automatic Transfer Switch panels that switch a site between mains and generator power automatically.
Can MEK work directly with MEP contractors and consultants?
Yes, this is a big part of what we do: project-specific electrical panel work alongside MEP contractors, consultants, and developers.
