Frequently Asked Questions
What does an outdoor battery cabinet do?
It houses batteries, battery/charger combinations and DC distribution panels, protecting them from dust, rain, ice and external heat and keeping them accessible only to authorised personnel.
How are the batteries mounted?
Batteries can be installed on pull-out drawers or fixed shelves, and the design isolates the switch power supply from the batteries.
Can the cabinet be customised?
Yes. MEK cabinets are fully customisable, including dimensions, doors, shelving, racking and climate control, and external boxes can be mounted on the exterior. Contact MEK Uganda for a quotation.
