Frequently Asked Questions
What is an electrical control enclosure?
It is a protective steel box that houses the control devices for equipment such as pumps, fans and lighting, shielding them from dust, debris and light moisture and keeping unauthorised people away from live parts.
How is heat managed inside the enclosure?
MEK can fit venting accessories or produce custom CNC-machined cutouts so heat from the installed equipment can escape.
Is the enclosure suitable for hazardous areas?
The source describes it as a cost-effective solution for non-hazardous environments. For hazardous-area requirements, contact MEK Uganda to discuss your application.
