Description
MEK Electrical Enclosures are sheet steel cabinets that house and protect switchgear, control equipment, cabling and electronics, indoors or outdoors. Indoor enclosures keep dust, debris and light moisture away from live equipment and stop unauthorised access. Weatherproof outdoor cabinets, rated IP54, IP65 or IP66, protect equipment from rain, dust, ice and extreme temperatures. Every enclosure is made by MEK to your dimensions and is available from MEK Uganda.

Frequently Asked Questions
What IP rating do I need for an outdoor enclosure?
IP54 protects against dust and splashing water. IP65 is dust-tight and resists water jets, and IP66 resists powerful water jets. For fully exposed outdoor sites in heavy rain, choose IP65 or IP66.
Can the enclosure keep equipment cool?
Yes. Enclosures have ventilation for heat dissipation, and climate control such as built-in AC or external coolers can be added for heat-sensitive equipment.
Can MEK make an enclosure to my size?
Yes. Design, dimensions and internal layout are all made to order.
Do you deliver outside Uganda?
Yes. MEK Uganda delivers across Uganda and to all East and Central African countries, including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and the DR Congo.
