Back Draft and Pressure Relief Damper
A back draft and pressure relief damper lets air flow in the intended direction and closes automatically when flow reverses. MEK builds them in galvanised, aluminium or stainless steel for inline or wall mounting, in sizes from 6" to 144", for HVAC systems from residential to heavy industrial duty.

Butterfly Damper
A butterfly damper controls airflow with a single pivoting disc or vane that rotates inside the duct. MEK butterfly dampers come in round, square or rectangular forms from 6" to 144", with manual, electric or pneumatic actuation and up to 99% shutoff for HVAC and process air systems.

Face and Bypass Damper
A face and bypass damper is a pair of linked dampers in an air handling unit: one controls air through the heating or cooling coil, the other routes air around it. Mixing the two streams gives precise supply-air temperature control and energy savings, with freeze-protection options available.

Fire and Smoke Damper
Fire and smoke dampers close automatically to stop flames, smoke and toxic gases spreading through a building's ductwork. MEK supplies fire, smoke and combination dampers rated for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours, activated by fusible link, smoke detector or fire alarm signal, in sizes from 4" × 4" to 48" × 48".

Inlet Vane Damper
An inlet vane damper, or variable inlet vane (VIV) damper, controls the air volume entering a fan, blower or air handling unit by adjusting the angle of airfoil-shaped vanes. It cuts energy use and noise and suits commercial HVAC, dust collection, fume exhaust and power plant fans.

Isolation Damper
An isolation damper shuts off airflow to a section of an HVAC system so unused zones or equipment can be isolated. MEK isolation dampers come manual or motorised, round or rectangular, with corrosion-resistant options, helping save energy and supporting fire and smoke containment in commercial and industrial buildings.

Louvre Damper
A louvre damper uses a set of adjustable or fixed blades to control the volume and direction of air at ventilation openings and in ducts. MEK louvre dampers are made in aluminium, galvanised or stainless steel, with weather-resistant coatings and seals for intake, exhaust and façade applications.

Multi-Blade Control Damper
A multi-blade control damper uses several independently adjustable blades to fine-tune airflow rate and direction in larger ducts. MEK supplies them round or rectangular, manual or motorised, in aluminium, galvanised or stainless steel, with blade seals that cut leakage for commercial, industrial, cleanroom and laboratory systems.

Single Blade Damper
A single blade damper is a simple, cost-effective damper for balancing airflow in ducts. One galvanised steel blade is set with an external balancing toggle, making it ideal for branch ducts in low-to-medium velocity systems (typically 2–6 m/s) in homes, offices and warehouses.

Volume Control Damper
A volume control damper (VCD) regulates the amount of air flowing through HVAC ductwork for heating, cooling and ventilation. MEK VCDs come round, rectangular or custom-shaped, in galvanised steel, aluminium or stainless steel, with aerodynamic sealed blades and manual or motorised operation.
