Commercial fridges and freezers are built to open and close all day and keep stock at a steady temperature in a hot kitchen. MEK Uganda’s range comes mostly in 304 stainless steel from Ark and Ark Pro, covering everything from a bar chiller to a blast freezer.
What’s in the range
- Upright chillers and freezers: single, double and 4-door models in solid or glass doors, including the 1500-litre double door chiller, the 2-door chiller + freezer and the 3-zone chiller, 1-zone freezer.
- Under-counter chillers and freezers: 4 ft and 6 ft units, with glass-door, marble-top, wash-area and salad-bar versions that fit under the work surface.

Frequently asked questions
Upright or under-counter?
Upright units hold the most stock. Under-counter units save space by putting chilled storage directly under the work surface, where it’s used.
What is a blast freezer for?
A blast freezer chills or freezes cooked food very quickly, which keeps quality and food safety higher than a standard freezer.
Why choose 304 stainless steel?
It resists rust and is easy to clean, so it stands up to the daily wash-down of a commercial kitchen.
Do you deliver outside Uganda?
